David Frederick Riley
Hell’s Coming With Me
The story of Wyatt, Virgil, and Morgan Earp alongside John Henry “Doc” Holliday has become one of the most memorable chapters of the American West. Their names have endured because of the danger they faced and the loyalty and resolve that carried them through it.
Rather than focus on a single moment, I brought the four men together in one composition. I wanted the painting to capture the brotherhood between them, the weight of what they faced, and the strength it took to stand beside one another.
What continues to hold my attention is the bond they shared. This is my interpretation of their history and the courage and determination that helped define the West.
