The Coastal Collection (Sold as Set of 3)
Many of my favorite memories are connected to the coast. Whether it was time spent walking the beach or the small treasures my grandparents brought home from Florida, those experiences stayed with me and inspired this collection.
Beach Currency, Ocean Spiral, and Seeing Stars were created to capture that feeling. Each piece explores the colors, textures, and simple beauty of the shoreline while bringing a contemporary approach through expressive brushwork, layered paint, and flowing drips. Together, they celebrate the objects that make the beach feel a little magical.
Beach Currency 36" x 36"
Growing up, my grandparents spent their winters in Florida, and my grandma would bring home sand dollars for my brother and me. We'd carefully break them open to see the tiny shapes inside, and that memory has stayed with me ever since.
This is the first sand dollar I’ve painted. I kept it simple and let the textures, soft blues, and drips reflect the feeling of finding one along the shore.
Ocean Spiral 36" x 36"
The shoreline is full of shapes and patterns that catch my attention. The nautilus shell has an incredible sense of balance, with every curve leading naturally into the next.
For this piece, I followed those natural lines, using soft coastal colors and loose paint to create a sense of movement. The finished painting feels like something the ocean slowly shaped over time.
Seeing Stars 36" x 36"
One of the things I love most about the beach is discovering the small things that often go unnoticed. A weathered starfish has so much texture and character, and I wanted that to be at the center of the painting.
